Clairins discontinued my old clarins fake tan I was gutted. Never found anything like it until now. absolutely love this and better than the old one but smells just like it glow is amazing

Fantastic product

I have do many different brands over the years with varying degrees of success. Bought tjis thinking it would be more like the make up tan which goes on with a colour. It doesnt - it takes 12+ hours to develop BUT it is amazing. It goes on so smoothly and i think the gel allows you to confident you have covered all the bits you want to cover! I usually do 2 coats a day apart and the tan will still look good for a week. I just use bare hands to apply and wash thoroughly once i have finished.

I have been on the hunt for gradual tanner since Josie Maran ruined my life and discontinued the tanning oil. So far I’ve tried: bondi sands and isle of paradise and now this. I’m fair with neutral undertones. My usual routine is that I like to apply the tan before bed. The smell is pleasant and the color is great, very subtle and natural. But the gel felt like it never dried on skin. I even used a hair drier after about 30 minutes. And I don’t think it’s a good idea to sleep in this because I got crazy weird lines and streaking on my legs. The plus is that the color is so subtle the only time in noticed uneven color was when i was outside. But it was pretty bad. I’m not sure this is the one. The search continues.

Orange, staining and drying

1. Body - I exfoliated my body as usual and applied overnight. There are few issues with this product, first of all it is way too dark, some people might like to look orange I don't. As there is no light version there is nothing you can do about it. Second issue is because it was too dark it stained all the areas with hard skin like elbows, ankle, heals etc. It also made my skin feel super dry after i had a shower. On top of that after i had a shower I noticed my white robe had orange stains all over it. Then my t-shirt and jeans were also stained. So you cannot wear anything light next day after applying this, not sure if this will stop after the second shower. 2. Face - I used to use the Liquid Bronze which was far more superior product than this. First of all it is way too dark even for my medium skin. Second of all when I washed my face in the morning it immediately felt tight and dry. Not sure how you are supposed to use this on the face as it is drying the skin. The original Liquid Bronze used to give a very light tan and it was possible to build up the tan if applied for 2 nights in a row it never made my skin feel dry in the morning. 3. And finally the DPD delivery was dreadful this is not the first time Clarins orders have arrived with the box broken and items missing. Overall this is a terrible product for a very expensive price. Will never buy self tans from Clarins again since the previous and much better version of self tan had been discontinued

My favorite!

I have used this for years and it gives me the most even, natural color of any other self tanner. I love the gel consistency. It goes on very evenly and I have never had streaks. Lasts longer than others I've tried.

The best I’ve used!

I bought this last summer but didn’t use it. Thought I’d start using it now the sun is making an appearance. I have very fair skin that does not naturally tan and burns easily. I’ve tried self tan in the past that just left me with orange knees and not much else! It’s so easy to apply and within a few hours I had a lovely light glow on my legs. I didn’t want it to look to dark so am very pleased, my legs feel moisturised to.
