New formulation is horrible!

They have changed the formulation, and this product is now awful! It dried my lips out, the texture is totally different, it no longer lasted on my lips overnight, and has an unpleasant taste. Bring back the blue lotus!!!

Change of formula isn’t good!

I bought this lip balm hoping it would be the same as the old formula but it’s just not the same! Very disappointing because the old version was a staple of my daily routine, and now I’m having to save the last few drops I have left. New product does very little in terms of hydrating my lips.

New formula/recipe is terrible.

Been using this product for years but the most recent tube is definitely a new formulation, and there is something in it that cracks and dries my lips within 1-2 hours. Simply cannot use. Massively disappointing.

Bring old formula

Please bring the old formula my lips crack all time and this lip balm repair straight away I hve just to replace the order one finish, I am disappointed 😞

Used to be perfection but now it's the opposite

I have used this balm for years and it has been the ONLY lip balm that my lips do not react to as I have very sensitive skin. The latest tube I bought is awful. The new formula dries my lips and makes them feel sore within 2 or 3 applications. Clarins this is so disappointing that you have ruined a holy grail product for people

Oh how the mighty have fallen

I had been using the old formula (the blue lotus one) for over 10 years and was put on to it by my mum who had been using it for as long as I can remember. I’m really disappointed in this new formula. It’s dried out my lips and has a very thin texture and just feels like it’s sitting on top of my lips doing nothing. I think a lot of loyal customers feel the disappointment and almost betrayal of this downfall of what was such an amazing product. I beg Clarins PLEASE bring back the old formula!! I’m now looking for other lip balms online but none of them look as good as the old version of this lip balm made my lips feel. But until the old version gets brought back or I find an adequate replacement, I’ll just be digging for scraps in my used tube of the old formula.

Bring back the old version please!

The new product is awful, whereas the original was THE best. I've used the orignal product for 15+ years and the disappointment with the new version is evident, please listen to your customers and bring back the old version.

Awful dry and raw lips

When I first invested in this 2 years ago, I was mind blown, it did exactly what it said it would do within 24hrs! You made a loyal customer out of me. Why would you change a perfectly good and highly rated product? My lips actually had a severe reaction to the product and I ended up throwing a full tube into the bin. First you changed the amazing shower gels and now this… such a shame.

Makes dry lips worse

Had this for Christmas and can’t believe how sore it leaves my lips. The old formula was brilliant, I’ve used it for years, I always carried one. I won’t buy or ask for this again.

Full marks for this lip balm

This is such a lovely lip balm and the effects are long-lasting. Lips feel great after applying and lipstick goes on better, even seems to last longer.

Has Changed For The Worse

I have used this for years but Clarins have changed the ingredients and it now makes my lips dry and sore. The previous lip balm was brilliant such a shame it's been changed.
